Latar belakangBackground

Dikenal sebagai Cek Midi, ia mantan aparatur sipil negara yang sejak 1995 mengoleksi manuskrip kuno Aceh. Tsunami 2004 memusnahkan 115 naskah koleksinya, namun ia membangun kembali koleksi hingga sekitar 590 naskah yang disimpan di Rumoh Manuskrip Aceh, Gampong Ie Masen Kayee Adang, Banda Aceh. Ia tercatat sebagai anggota A'wan PWNU Aceh 2026–2031.

Known as Cek Midi, he is a former civil servant who has collected old Acehnese manuscripts since 1995. The 2004 tsunami destroyed 115 of them, but he rebuilt the collection to about 590 manuscripts kept at the Rumoh Manuskrip Aceh in Gampong Ie Masen Kayee Adang, Banda Aceh. He is listed as an A'wan member of NU Aceh for 2026–2031.
