Tabrani ZA is the youngest son of the late Tgk. Guru Banta Sulaiman ZA and an alumnus of Dayah Darussalam Labuhan Haji, South Aceh. He founded Jurnal Ilmiah Peuradeun, indexed in Scopus Q1 and Web of Science, teaches at Universitas Serambi Mekkah and UIN Ar-Raniry's education faculty, and is director of SCAD Independent, an official of GP Ansor Aceh Besar and secretary-general of LKBH Tendikindo. On 20 December 2024 he defended his doctoral dissertation at UIN Ar-Raniry proposing the INSTAL (integrative-structuralist) curriculum model. His book The Paradigm of Science in Islam is said to have been translated into 12 languages.
