Nyak Ina Raseuki (Ubiet) lahir di Jakarta pada 24 Mei 1965 dari ayah Aceh dan ibu Minangkabau, dan dibesarkan di Sabang. Ia belajar musik di Institut Kesenian Jakarta, lalu meraih Master of Music dan doktor etnomusikologi dari University of Wisconsin–Madison. Ia bekerja sama dengan komponis Tony Prabowo sejak 1989 dan merilis antara lain Archipelagongs (2000) dan Kroncong Tenggara (2007).
Nyak Ina Raseuki (Ubiet) was born in Jakarta on 24 May 1965 to an Acehnese father and Minangkabau mother and grew up in Sabang. She studied music at the Jakarta Institute of the Arts and earned a Master of Music and a doctorate in ethnomusicology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She has collaborated with composer Tony Prabowo since 1989, releasing among others Archipelagongs (2000) and Kroncong Tenggara (2007).
