Naimah Hasan (Dra., MA.) is listed as a vice chair of the Daily Executive Board of ICMI's Aceh regional organisation (Orwil) for 2026–2031. Born in Samalanga, Bireuen, on 5 December 1955, she graduated from the Tarbiyah Faculty of IAIN Ar-Raniry (1983), did graduate study in the Philippines, and taught at Syiah Kuala University's Faculty of Economics (1979–2011). She was a member of the People's Consultative Assembly (1997–1999), vice chair of Aceh's Independent Election Commission (2005–2008) and chair of the supervisory board of the BRR reconstruction agency for Aceh–Nias (2005–2009). A leading women's-movement figure, she led the Aceh women's organisations council (BKOW) and Balai Syura Ureung Inong Aceh, organised the first Acehnese women's congress (Duek Pakat Inong Aceh) in 2000, and has long headed ICMI Aceh's division for women's empowerment and child protection.
