Mustanir Yahya (Prof., Dr., M.Sc.) is listed as secretary of the Expert Board of ICMI Aceh (Orwil Aceh) for 2026–2031. Originally from Aceh Besar, he earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya, followed by a master's in organic chemistry (1997) and a doctorate in chemistry (2000) from Kyushu University, Japan, with a dissertation on gas-phase ion equilibria. He is a professor of organic chemistry in the Chemistry Department of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), working on natural products and reaction mechanisms. He has also been involved in higher-education accreditation work with BAN-PT.
