Politikus Partai Aceh yang terpilih ke DPR Aceh pada Pemilu 2024 tetapi tidak dilantik karena maju dalam pilkada. Ia menjabat Bupati Aceh Timur untuk masa 19 Maret 2025 hingga 19 Maret 2030. Dalam struktur partai 2023–2028 ia tercatat sebagai Wakil Ketua Dewan Penasihat Partai Aceh.
Partai Aceh politician elected to the Aceh provincial council in 2024 but not sworn in because he stood in the regional elections. He serves as Regent (Bupati) of East Aceh for 19 March 2025 to 19 March 2030. In the 2023–2028 party structure he is deputy chair of the Partai Aceh advisory council.
