Iskandar Hasan lahir pada 1 Mei 1955. Perwira tinggi Polri ini menjabat Sekretaris NCB Interpol (2007–2008), Kapolda Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (2008–2009), Direktur di PTIK, Kepala Divisi Humas Polri (2010), Kapolda Aceh (2010–2012) dan Kapolda Sumatera Selatan (2012–2013). Pada 2013 ia maju sebagai calon wakil gubernur Sumatera Selatan dengan dukungan PKS, PAN dan PBR.
Iskandar Hasan was born on 1 May 1955. A senior police officer, he was secretary of NCB Interpol (2007–2008), Bangka Belitung police chief (2008–2009), a director at PTIK, head of police public relations (2010), Aceh police chief (2010–2012) and South Sumatra police chief (2012–2013). In 2013 he ran for deputy governor of South Sumatra backed by PKS, PAN and PBR.
