Alhudri lahir di Aceh Tengah pada 22 November 1968 dan keturunan Reje Baluntara Kampung Toweren, Lut Tawar; istrinya Malawani dan mereka memiliki tiga anak. Ia lulus D-III APDN (1991), S1 IIP Jakarta (1997), dan magister USK (2003), lalu menjadi camat Syiah Utama, Wih Pesam, dan Lut Tawar serta kepala sejumlah dinas di Aceh Tengah. Gubernur Zaini Abdullah mengangkatnya sebagai Kepala Satpol PP dan WH Aceh pada 16 Mei 2014; ia kemudian menjabat Kepala Dinas Sosial Aceh (2016), Plt Bupati Aceh Tengah (Oktober 2016), dan Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Aceh (2021–Mei 2024). Pada 2023 ia menjadi Pj Bupati Gayo Lues menggantikan Rasyidin Porang. Ia sempat mencalonkan diri pada Pilkada Aceh Tengah 2024 bersama Alaidin sebelum mundur pada September 2024, dan pada 19 Februari 2025 menerima SK sebagai Plt Sekda Aceh hingga digantikan M. Nasir Syamaun pada Maret 2025.
Alhudri was born in Central Aceh on 22 November 1968 and descends from the Reje Baluntara of Toweren village, Lut Tawar; he is married to Malawani and they have three children. He graduated from APDN (1991), IIP Jakarta (1997) and earned a master's at USK (2003), then served as district head of Syiah Utama, Wih Pesam and Lut Tawar and headed several Central Aceh offices. Governor Zaini Abdullah made him head of Aceh's civil police and sharia police (Satpol PP and WH) on 16 May 2014; he then headed the Aceh social affairs office (2016), was acting regent of Central Aceh (October 2016) and headed the Aceh education office (2021–May 2024). In 2023 he became acting regent of Gayo Lues, replacing Rasyidin Porang. He ran briefly for Central Aceh regent in 2024 with Alaidin before withdrawing in September 2024, and on 19 February 2025 was named acting provincial secretary of Aceh until replaced by M. Nasir Syamaun in March 2025.
